Went to East Coast Park today with Charissa to do voluntary work with Samantha, Angela and Pastor Lily. it started to rain at around 3.25pm and the event is starting at 3.30pm. Oh Gosh!! so we prayed very hard for the rain to stop And God is Good.He stopped the rain.WOo!!Thank God! Sam told us that we expected about 10 youths coming today but only one faithful and loyal one came...the others didn't come and i know Sam was quite sad coz this is the 1st event she so called in charge. Never mind at least got one.haha..My job and Charissa's job is to mix around and get to know them better. Sam didn't carry out her game which she planned. In the end we went to play pool and arcade games. It's fun!! haha...After that we went to have our dinner at BK. Charissa and I went to the beach to have a chat and enjoy the sea breeze. Sam was chatting with the youth and Pastor Lily and Angela went off 1st. Then Sam came to look for us which like the two of us was like singing la...-_-''' haha...Sam's pattern is that we will have a sharing after some event and stuff..we found a place at Mac then we have a talk of what have we learnt through today's event although only one youth turned up...So we shared....One thing i take back with me is that I should Make the first step. As in eg. Talk to my brother first instead of him talking to me(which i think this will take ages.haha). Yup, to conclude, I really learn alot of things today and i take back with me something i can apply in my daily life. All Glory to God.
